AirAppz installed free public wifi in the newly opened O’Briens Sandwich bar in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary today. This means that I now have free public wifi access within driving distance in a location suitable for an Open Coffee Club meeting. I already had free wifi in the Derg Inn just down the road but unfortunatly the location is a bit too remote for an OCC meeting.

As I do not want to drag this out too long I suggest this FridayMay 22nd at 11 am.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with the concept of Open Coffee Clubs I suggest that you have a look at the Limerick Open Coffee Club website.

Please leave a comment below if you plan to attend or email me if you have any questions.

Looking forward to this one!

  6. Good to see O’Brien’s franchisees installing free public wifi despite Brody Sweeney’s misgivings, as @derryo will attest to. Congrats on the birth of Neenagh Opencoffee.

  7. evertb says:

James, It’s not all O’Briens franchises (although I would be interested in fitting them all out). The Nenagh one is owned by the same people who own the one in Midway and in Athlone. We will be upgrading all those locations to our captive portal model shortly.
Nenagh Open Coffee Club now has it’s own online presences:
